Woodworking Classes at Lakeshore Hardwoods

Beginners & Advanced Shaker box classes run simultaineously on Friday from 6:00 PM to 10:00PM and on Saturday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM.

Plane making class runs Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:00PM.

*April 13th Hand Dovetailing 9am -3pm.

In this one day workshop learn to cut and fit through dovetail joints by hand. The dovetail joint has long been considered a hallmark of fine craftsmanship. Your pick of two projects to take home.

Tools provided.

Tuition: $100 plus a $20 cash material fee paid to the instructor.

Make a nest of 4  Shaker Oval Boxes

Learn about Shaker History, Tools & Material included. Student will make four oval boxes to take home. a great class for beginners or a new product for woodworking proffesionals. Steve Grasselli has taught oval box making at Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, Mass since 2002.
